Nickelodeon have built a Spongebob pineapple hotel in the Caribbean
Do you want to live in Spongebob’s world? We do. Because it involves entering through a giant golden pineapple and how can that be wrong? Nickelodeon and Resorts Punta Cana have, it seems, joined forces to create an all-inclusive experience we never even knew we wished for. Introducing the Pineapple Villa, a 1,500-square-foot, two bedroom and three bathroom luxury hotel suite based on SpongeBob’s pineapple house under the sea – which isn’t under the sea, but is stunning nevertheless. It’s located on the beach in Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, so you’ll have to travel, but, you know, details. The newly opened Nickelodeon resort is the first of its kind in the world and the Pineapple Villa is its crowning glory. Inspired, of course, by SpongeBob SquarePants’ dream home, the villa’s decor is lifted straight out of Bikini Bottom and the suite includes a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, indoor and outdoor showers and baths… …And a second twin bedroom, a loft-style living room, a dining room, private gardens and patio, sun-bathing beds and the signature pineapple pool. You also get a private butler, who can organise activities like a moonlit beach dinner prepared by a world-class chef, or wine tasting, or an in-suite afternoon tea party, pizza party or pyjama party. | Metro News via IFTTT
