This baby cheetah and puppy are being raised as BFFs and it’s adorable

This is almost too cute to take. This 10-week-old cheetah cub and 7-week-old puppy are BFFs and it’s completely adorable. After baby cheetah Emmett developed pneumonia, he was moved to Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. That’s where he met new BFF and companion dog Cullen, a Labrador puppy, to be his companion dog. ‘Cullen will help Emmett to be more confident and calm as cheetahs are naturally skittish animals. Emmett will travel with Jungle Jack Hanna’s team and be an ambassador for his cousins in the wild, and Cullen will be with him every step of the way’, Columbus Zoo said. Explaining why the zoo placed the unlikely companions together, the zoo’s Animal Programs Director, Suzi Rapp, said: ‘If you place the puppy with the cubs, then pretty soon the cubs don’t realise — they think it’s their brother, their sister. ‘What I’ve learned is that we want our cheetahs to have all the confidence in the world.
