There’s a new hipster cop in town and we all want a piece

A sexy hipster cop is making people melt on social media after being photographed during the arrest of some important Brazilian guy… you know, what’s his name. The plainclothes policeman, Lucas Valença, was seen on the runway with his well-groomed beard, topknot and biceps to die for… On a more serious note, he was actually pictured on Wednesday arresting Brazilian politician Eduardo Cunha who is accused of taking bribes onto a plane. Local newspaper, O Globo, identified the cop as Lucas, and since then he has been splashed all over the headlines in Brazil. It turns out that the officer is of Japanese origin, and since becoming such a hit, his picture has already been adopted as a symbol of the country’s anti-corruption operations. His image has even appeared on t-shirts, carnival masks and banners used in street demonstrations. The ultra conservative former deputy Cunha was the mastermind of the impeachment against Dilma Rousseff, before he became involved in the corruption scandal in Petrobras. And let’s not forget the original hipster cop who started it all, Peter Swinger, whose ginger beard and epic moustache is the epitome of hipster fashion. | Metro News via IFTTT
