Tree grows into a horse and jockey, no really
Motorists are getting a little bit of a surprise when they pass this bizarre tree by the side of a country road. The trees have grown into the shape of a jockey riding a racehorse. The remarkable 30ft-high beech tree appears to show the horse and jockey in mid-leap. It can be seen on the A528 road between Shrewsbury and Wem in Shropshire. IT worker Chris Burrows, 45, from Much Wenlock, Shropshire, said: ‘I pass the tree nearly every day and always assumed it was intended to look like a jockey and a horse but it appears it actually grew naturally. ‘It’s an incredible sight and I’ve actually seen people stop their cars to take pictures next to it.’ | Metro News via IFTTT
