Team GB stars arrive back home after heroics at Rio 2016 Olympics
Team GB heroes have returned home off the back of their record-breaking achievements at the Rio 2016 Olympics. Britain managed to secure an incredible 67 medals at the Games, improving on a tally of 65 from London 2012, and a star-studded group of the team’s sportsmen and sportswomen landed at Heathrow on Tuesday morning. Those who hadn’t already come back home – including the likes of Nicola Adams, Max Whitlock, Alistair Brownlee and Adam Peaty – were on board the British Airways flight BA2016. To mark Team GB’s stunning medal haul, the Boeing 747 was decorated with a gold nose cone and a ‘victoRIOus’ livery. | Metro News via IFTTT
