Author leaves hilarious fake trivia books all over bookstores

After creating a fake trivia book as a gift for a friend’s wedding, author Jeff Waldman decided it’d be funny to actually publish some more, including some fantastic illustrations to really sell the book. He then decided to have some fun with them – by leaving copies around random bookstores, in ‘whatever spot makes the most sense’. According to the author, the books look ‘legit’, with ‘normal’ covers, copyright pages, ISBN numbers and publishing information. But he admits, once the book is opened, everything else you see as he says himself, is just ‘bullshit’. If you’d like to trick your own local bookstores with this brilliant book – which has been dubbed ‘101 Facts You Can’t Prove Aren’t Not True’ -you can do so by getting your own copy, complete with black and white illustrations, on Amazon. | Metro News via IFTTT
