Boy caught kicking and punching neighbour’s cat but gets taste of own medicine

A five-year-old boy who was caught kicking and punching his neighbour’s cat got a taste of his own medicine after the cat started fighting back. Shocking footage shows the child, who was wearing a ‘here comes trouble T-shirt’, torturing the cat outside its owner’s home in Manchester. But the brave cat, named Sky, wasn’t having any of it and scratched the boy’s neck in an attempt to defend herself. Luckily, Sky was not seriously injured in the attack but her owner, Neil Fisher, says he had the door slammed in his face when he attempted to confront the child’s parents. Mr Fisher, 35, reported the incident to RSPCA and the police but says they’re unable to take action because of his age. Mr Fisher, who runs his own security firm, said the CCTV, which is attached to his house, showed the boy abusing the cat for a total of eight minutes on Sunday afternoon. The boy’s family have now accused Mr Fisher of trying to ‘shame’ the five-year-old, who’s been ‘grounded and sent to his room’ as punishment. Greater Manchester Police and the RSPCA will not be taking action. | Metro News via IFTTT
