Grandmother steps onto ledge five storeys up to clean windows

A house-proud gran takes on a death-defying cleaning routine to get her windows sparkling – despite her son telling her to stop. Ignoring the don’t try this at home warnings, 76-year-old Mo Kam Tai cleans her windows by perching on the outside ledge of a fifth floor flat that towers above a busy street. A satellite worker, Kieran Turner, spotted the regular Evel Knievel risk her life just to get a shiny finish. He said: ‘I was putting an aerial up on the next block when I turned and saw her cleaning the sill. By the time I got my phone out she was, to my amazement standing, on the wet surface.’ But Mo, who moved to Glasgow from Hong Kong 25 years ago, said nobody else can do it to her high standards. | Metro News via IFTTT
