Has Apple just made a big iPhone 7 cancellation?

Rumours have begun to circulate that Apple has scrapped the launch of its IPhone 7 Pro model. The belief is founded on Apple’s trademark filings in Russia – which a leak suggests refer to only two iPhone 7 models (‘A1778’ and ‘A1784’) – not three. The general understanding was that the tech giant was set to launch three handsets – the 7, 7 Plus and 7 Pro – this month. However, suggestions were made in August by Japanese site Mac Otakara that Apple had decided to scrap the Pro. The reason for all this and is it actually going to happen? Well, Forbes says it seems likely on the basis that Russia has received every iPhone model thus far. But as far as the reason goes a number of theories have been mooted. MacRumours suggests Apple might not be able to get enough dual lens cameras for the model, while others say they might want to save some of the updates for the much anticipated 8. But given that the Pro has been amongst the most leaked of the models, iTech asks whether that would mean the 8 will pack very few surprises? ( Metro News) via IFTTT
