SICK AND TWISTED Teen girl arrested after posting sick films of herself ‘torturing and killing animals’ --- A TEENAGE girl has been arrested for torturing and killing cats and dogs with her friend and then posting footage of their reign of terror online. Alina Orlova, 17, was arrested on the far eastern Russian city of Vladivostok where she was waiting for a connecting flight between her home city of Khabarovsk in south-eastern Russia to St Petersburg in the north-western part of the country. According to local media, she was afraid she might get arrested. She and her friend, Kristina K., who likes to wear horror movie-style makeup and contact lenses, posted photographs and videos of themselves apparently torturing and killing cats and dogs for 'bloodlust'. The horrific images show one dog nailed to the wall as if it had been crucified and another hanging by its collar and then shot with an air gun. Other animals are seen dead, including one which the girls cut open to pull out its internal organs. Police became involved after animal lovers reacted with outrage to the graphic images that were posted in social media. Local residents started a petition calling on the authorities to do something about the teenage torturers. Both of the callous girls are students and live in the city of Khabarovsk in south-eastern Russia's Khabarovsk Krai region. They said they had been adopting unwanted animals which they had promised to look after but instead they had tortured and killed them, posting photographic evidence online. Orlova is seen clutching a cute puppy with her mouth open wide as if she is about to bit it, and another image shows Kristina menacingly holding a hammer and a nail. | The Sun via IFTTT
