Footage shows prisoners openly passing contraband to each other at Wormwood Scrubs
EXCLUSIVE: Shocking footage shows prisoners openly passing contraband to each other through their cell windows in latest jail security breach *** This shocking footage shows prisoners openly moving contraband between their cell windows in the latest security breach at a British jail. Three inmates at Wormwood Scrubs in west London can be seen passing goods to each other by swinging a length of rope with a package at one end. It is the latest sign of the security crisis facing UK jails, which have faced intense criticism following a riot and a break-out on two consecutive days. The clip, which lasts for a minute and a half, was filmed by a workman in Hammersmith Hospital, which overlooks the Category B man's jail. The man, who did not want to be identified, started filming at midday after noticing movement while looking out from an upstairs window. He told MailOnline: 'I was having a little look at the prison and from the corner of my eye I saw something fly out of one of the windows. Meanwhile, two prisoners remain on the run after breaking out of HMP Pentonville in north London. James Anthony Whitlock, 31, and Matthew Baker, 28, escaped the north London prison in an audacious Alcatraz-style break out. They were discovered missing just before midday on Monday. The men used diamond cutters - reportedly sent in by a drone - to break out of their cell and left mannequins in their beds in a bid to avoid detection. | Daily Mail via IFTTT
